Theater Archives: Auditions

Please read before registering:
This is a FREE inclusive educational theater program open to all ADULTS in the community, regardless of ability or skill level.
Over the course of 9 weeks, participants will focus on at least one of the following skill areas:
Acting & Improvisation
Vocal Technique
Dance & Movement
Set Design
To be cast in a role, you must attend auditions on February 12th, 2026. Auditions will be held at the Arc Ontario Eberhardt Center, 2975 County Rd 48, Canandaigua NY.
Registration for an audition time slot is required. Participants will be chosen based on their area of interest, enthusiasm, talent, and the needs of the production.
Come to your audition prepared to showcase your musical and artistic talents. Plan to perform a comedic monologue, dance, instrumental arrangement, or song.
Please bring the following to your audition, or email them to the email address below prior to the day of the audition.
- A photo of yourself
- A list of your relevant experiences
- If applicable, a backing track (or link) for your audition piece
If you are unable to commit to the full program duration but would like to volunteer your time, please complete the "Volunteer Interest" registration and someone will be in touch.
Rehearsals will be on Thursdays from 5-7pm beginning 3/5/2026. Tuesday rehearsals may be required closer to the performance date. Direct support staff not provided during rehearsals.
The final performances will be at the Fort Hill Performing Arts Center on May 2nd. To be considered for an on-stage role, you MUST be available on these dates.

The Snoezelen Room at The Arc Ontario’s Main Facility offers a controlled multisensory environment that promotes a soothing and stimulating atmosphere. The room features massage chairs, low but visually stimulating lighting, a crash pad, sensory & fidget toys & malleable objects, smart TV and more! This space can be utilized to explore sensory needs, to stimulate senses such as sight & touch, and to relax & wind down. We are excited to be able to offer this service to those who are interested in our community!
